What is the typical timeline for implementation?

While there are a few factors that affect your clinic’s implementation timeline such as size, clinic-specific requests, and interfaces, on average, it takes 45 days from beginning to end.

 

What information do I need prior/during implementation?

Because we configure everything specific to each client, we will ask for specific details and documents before and during implementation. Our team may ask for information about your clinical gross charges, clinic-specific insurance companies, procedures and more. We may also want to look at contracts, letters, and forms that are used by your staff, and lists of medications or labs you use consistently.

What training do you offer at implementation?

Training for new clinics starts with online training videos for everyone. This is followed up by live training for superusers (the go-to person on your team for all things DocuTAP) with their designated Implementation Analyst. Live training allows staff to ask our experts questions in real time. After the initial training, users can access many supplemental resources including documents and videos online in the DocuTAP Community.

 

Is onsite training available?

Yes. Depending on your clinic’s specific contract, your agreement can include an EMR Analyst on-site the week of your go live to help with clinical workflow and troubleshooting. While this training is not included in all contracts, it can be arranged by request.

 

Is training available after we go live?

Your implementation team will be your first line of support for three to four weeks after your clinic goes live. This, along with patient chart audits and weekly support calls, will be included in a standard implementation. After implementation, your team will contact our support team with questions or when you need help.

 

What clinic support do you offer?

Our U.S-based support team operates from 7 AM to 8 PM (CT) on weekdays and 7 AM to 5 PM (CT) on weekends. We also offer 24/7/365 support for critical business outages. We welcome your calls and our team can guide you to the training resources you need for success.
