06: How to Market Your New Urgent Care

Not sure where to start when it comes to marketing? In this video, Patrice gives tips for how to best introduce your clinic location to the public.

Patrice Pash:
Hi, everyone. Patrice here to talk about the best marketing methods for your urgent care, especially when you’re starting up. First and foremost is location and signage and if you’ve been tuning in all along, you know how much emphasis we put on visibility, location and signage. Nothing is going to trump people being able to see where you are and find you.

Next, is website. One of the things that we talk about is create that website early. Don’t worry about it being perfect, but get it out there and then start optimizing it. The third is social media. Well, let’s be honest, who’s not on Facebook now-a-days. But there are other forms of social media too and you can certainly explore them and how much they’re used within your community or the demographic that you’re trying to reach.

The last two are mailers and other forms of what we call B2C type of materials. Now, mailers have been around for a long time, but they’re still one of the best ways to keep conveying to your patients in your community what types of services, types of programs that maybe you have that are seasonal and keeping top of mind awareness to these same patients.

Last but not least, is what we call direct, or B2B, business to business type of materials. There’s nothing wrong with creating a brochure and dropping off in the community to some of the other small businesses that might be able to get your name out there. They’re seeing some of the same people that are coming into your clinic as well.
