Texting Terms and Conditions
We offer a text messaging system to our clients to allow patients of the clients to receive Alerts primarily consisting of appointment reminders, appointment status and waiting times. By opting-in to our text message system, you are providing consent to use your personal information to provide the text messaging services made available by us. Message and data rates may apply; please contact your wireless provider for specific information regarding your text messaging usage and charges. You can expect a maximum of five messages per visit.
By enrolling in text appointment confirmations, you are authorizing DocuTAP to send text message appointment Alerts to you on your provided cell phone number. You agree that all individuals associated with your account may receive Alerts. Your enrollment indicates that you represent and warrant that you are the person legally responsible for all use of the account, are at least 18 years of age, and agree to all terms and conditions of use for the text messaging services. You understand that the Alerts are not encrypted and neither DocuTAP nor the clinic are responsible for unauthorized access to your information while in transition or for safeguarding your information once the Alert is delivered to your cell phone.
You may opt-out of our text message system by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org stating your name and cell phone number and that you want to opt-out of the system. You may also reply STOP to cancel. Once you opt-out, you will no longer receive appointment Alerts.
