Urgent Care Quarterly Fall 2017 Sneak Peek

A few trends emerge as we look at individual regions, especially in the Southwest, where average reimbursements have risen from less than $110 per visit in 2013 to just over $125 in 2016. In the Southeast, average reimbursement per visit has fallen from about $130 in 2013 to just over $120 in 2016. Is Your Urgent Care Clinic Ready for New Medicare Cards and MBI?

Due to requirements of the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015, new Medicare cards will be mailed to the nearly 58 million beneficiaries starting in April of 2018. New cards will not include social security numbers (SSNs) in an effort to protect Medicare recipients against fraud and identity theft. Be sure your urgent care clinic is prepared.
